Here’s a video showing how I knit the marlisle colourwork in my Oil Paint Cowl! The ‘foreground’ stitches are knit with the contrast colour only, with the main colour held behind, and the background stitches are worked with both colours held together (knit or purled depending on the round). To keep the floats loose, I like to stretch out the foreground stitches on the right-hand needle before working the background
